Domestic LPG Cylinder Prices Hiked by ₹29, Second Increase in Three Months

Domestic LPG Cylinder Prices Increased by ₹29 Across India | Second Hike in 3 Months

Cooking gas has become more expensive once again as domestic LPG cylinder prices have been increased by ₹29 across India. This marks the second hike in domestic LPG prices in the last three months.

According to reports, the price of a 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi has increased from ₹913 to ₹942 with effect from June 7, 2026. Prices may vary slightly across states due to local taxes and transportation costs.

The latest increase comes amid rising fuel and energy costs, adding additional burden on household expenses for millions of consumers across the country.

Reports suggest that oil marketing companies revised the prices to offset rising operational and global energy-related costs. Earlier this year, domestic LPG cylinder prices had also witnessed an increase, making this the second major revision within a span of three months.

Commercial LPG cylinder prices had also been revised recently, with rates for 19-kg cylinders increased in several cities.

The revised LPG rates are now applicable in major cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai. Consumers can check updated city-wise prices through official oil marketing company websites.
